When do Barred Rock pullets start laying?

I have a 23 week old Barred Rock pullet who has not started laying yet, even though all my other pullets of different breeds but the same age started laying weeks ago. Does anyone know when Barred Rocks typically start laying?

Each pullet is an individual, so each comes into lay when she is ready.

23wks to me if still pretty young. I think some of my PBR's came into lay at around 26wks, some later at around 30.

Mine laid her first egg at 20 weeks and 5 days old. But every hen is different.

Mine from this year all started laying between 17-23 weeks. I bet she will start soon! She looks about ready!

With my last batch of chicks, everyone started laying within a week after they started squating. I don’t know if that’s the rule with most chickens, or if it’s just a coincidence that all of mine did that. But I would assume she would start quickly after squatting.

I'm also waiting for my 4 BR to lay. They're 25 weeks old today. Not a single egg!

I only have one layer out of my 11 pullets- all the same age.
