When Do Cockerels Wattles Start To Develop?

The chicks are 3 weeks tomorrow, and I saw this little Sussex's comb looking very red for its age. Agh! It doesn't come up very well on the photos!

Nothing shouts obvious boy yet, but 3 more weeks will make a big difference! Some breeds get a small bit of wattles early they just never grow more than that little bit until much later. Some are very obvious very early on…it’s a stressful waiting game! But so far it’s a question mark I’d say!

Thanks! Just making sure so I don't get too attached to him/her/it
