When do duck eggs start moving and making noise?

do a search here on byc for calibrate hygrometer. its not too hard, but not something you could do now. our 1st hatch, every single duck hatched while we were sleeping! and i was seriously getting up every hour to check on them!

OMG!!! OMG!! in know i probably wasn't suppose to, but i picked up and help a few of the eggs(just for a few secs) and in onw i could clearly feel movement!! And in the other, I could feel movement and I heard two very little peeps!! OMG!!! I'm so excited...I wont be able to sleep tonight!!

I have somewut two pips! They are actually peeping and wiggleing now. But it has been about 4 hours since I saw the pips. I'm so nervouse. How long does it usually take from the time the pip? I dont know if they are evan considered pips. They are cracks but not all the way through. Is this bad? O GOD! I'm nervouse excited and panicing at the same time!

yes those are pips. they can take up to 2 days i have heard. people that choose to help usually do so after 24 hours.
i have one duck out but his yolk is not all the way absorbed, so we are trying to keep him quiet.

Why would you want your humidity up in the 90's. I have 2 ducks hatching now, out of 2 eggs and I raise my humidity between 60 and 70. If your humidity is to high it can drown the babies, or cause physical defects.

Any how, good luck with your hatch. By the way, duck eggs do move when hatching.
