When do ducks normally start flying?

My littlest duckling has walking problem (Niacin deficiency but it is doing much better) will it be able to fly even though it cant walk well?

I don't remember which breed you have. Some breeds don't fly much. My buffs can go a few meters at a time, the runners pretty much wing-assisted hopping.

If it's a Pekin, I don't think there will be much flying, especially once it reaches adult size.
