when do ducks start to lay??

they are about 20 weeks i have a few that are younger about 16 or 17 weeks?? when can i expect fertile eggs i have a 1 1/2 year old drake and a drake the same age as them!!
 
Patience, please. You can always do a search of past posts if you have a question you want answered right away; this is a very common question. Anyway, there is quite a range in when they start to lay, anywhere from 18-28 weeks, depending on their breed and what they are being fed.
 
We had gotten our ducks in the beginning of August 2008 and were getting eggs in January 2009. We have 3 different breeds and some started later than others.
