when do guineas lay????

Do guineas lay year round? When do they lay and where. In the country lots of woods and pasture.

growing up we had guineas..I really don't remember when they laid, I think it is seasonal though...but they lay where they want to..they were free range and once the doors to the hen house were opened in the morning they would run like crazy to their own made nest...sometimes it was sevreal hundred yards from the house in the neighbors pasture, some would lay behing the house,..so pretty much where they felt like it.

I don't live very far from you so our seasons are the same. They will start to lay in late March to early April through July. The same as turkey do around here. They will lay anywhere but usually in tall grass or brush. They usually lay in the middle of the day so just watch them, they will usually lead you to the nest.
