When do Guineas lays their first egg?

When do guineas normally start laying eggs?

Some Guinea Hens, if hatched early enough in the season will lay their first few eggs in the late Fall, but not very many. They are sexually mature usually around 16 wks old, but some will lay a couple weeks sooner than that. Typically tho, Guinea Hens hatched out in the Summer or early Fall will lay their first eggs the following Spring of the next year (before they turn a yr old).
