last summer i was given 5 turkeys 2 blue slate hens 2 blue slate gobblers and a bourbon red hen. He saids they are around 3 years old. Are they to old to breed or are they still young??

Age three is said to be the last good year of fertilization. Keep them healthy with vitamins, protein ect.ect. Maybe this years hatch could be your new breeders?

Ok thanks ya this years eggs are gonna be my breeders. Luckily today for the first time i saw my tom breeding me hen! Finally i was getting worried!!

You might want to pen one of your toms seperate and just leave the dominate gobbler to breed the hens. I have seen gobblers get so busy knocking each other off a hen that nobody gets their business taken care of.

Hahah thats funny i literly just did that! Im trying to sell my one gobbler. This morning what happened was my dominant gobbler was attempting to breed the one hen and the gobbler knocked him off. I caught him put him in a pen and before i could get outside the gobbler was breeding the hen again!
