When do hens usually start back in spring?

I know this is early, but when do most hens pick back up on laying?

I'm just guessing here, but I think they'd start laying again once the days begin to get longer and the weather warms up...but I don't know for sure...

Yep, the longer days in Spring will bring on the laying. Individual hens will determine how soon that is.
Most pullets will lay through the first winter without additional lighting.... No way this is a perfect science, and your flock is going to lay when all is right for them Good Luck!
