When do I call it quits??

I need a reality check. Is it time to call it quits?

My first chick pipped on Saturday at 11 pm and hatched on Monday at 7:29 am! 32 hours and 29 minutes later. Thought it would be the death of ME!

I am now at the tail end of day 23--day 24 begins at 11 am this morning (Thursday). Nothing has come of the other 8 eggs (no pipping, no peeping, no rock & roll). Thought I heard a bunch of tapping yesterday, but now I am beginning to think it was just the crunching of the Styrofoam bator from my ear smashing it down on top.

How much longer do I hold out hope?

I had one hatch once on day 24, so I always wait for day 25!

we all hate to give up, but I too on day 25. call it quits.
and clean up and ,ake room for the next hatch

So is that the beginning of day 25 or the end of day 25?... I would totally be okay with these babies coming out, pubescent.

Oh, I am waiting. Pretty sure my husband's gonna have to drag me (kicking and screaming) away from a stinky bator.
