When do I give them "treats"?

I have three chickens, 6 weeks old. When can I start giving them treats and what do you suggest I begin with when I do?

oh, about 5 weeks 3 days ago. offer free choice grit and whatever you've got laying around. meat scraps, apple cores, tomato, whatever.
