When do I give up on my duck eggs?

We are currently going into day 31 and still nothing. How long is too long to wait?

What kind of duck? I know Pekins take around 28 days but breeds like Muscovy can take up to 35. You’re probably fine - have you candled them?

They are Welsh Harlequins. Supposed to be 28 days.

People have talked about on this very forum, that for some reason the number of days isn't always right on point. I've read threads here where people have gone into day 31 and day 32 for non-muscovies; but that is probably not the norm.

You're using an incubator? Or doing 'traditional'?

I think you should wait a little longer. 31 days isn’t too far, from what I’ve been reading.

It sounds like your temperatures are not correct on your incubator.

Ok, sounds good. Have you candled your eggs to see if they are still alive?

Not since lockdown.. we are worried about harming them if they are alive. We will probably do that later today...
