When do I need to clean my brooder?

Hi! I'm new with chickens and since I live in a city I've decided to have my chicks indoors. I'm going to have 1 to 4 chickens but I don't know how often I need to clean my brooder. For now I'm placing a folded towel and covering it with paper towels for bedding. That's okay, right? Can you please tell me when to clean my brooder?

You'll know. Likely daily... Just depends in how messy they are, chicks can get super messy!
