When do I take the heat off?!

I have a few baby chicks and they are 3 weeks old almost 4 when should I let them outside or turn off the heat lamp?!

Where are you located? It would depend on the temperatures ... and it helps if they are they are fully feathered to help keep them warm. Mine were fine without a heat lamp at 6 weeks, but I'm in Southern California and the temperatures were in the 50s at night and they were feathered.
