When do Jersey Giants become, well, giant?

They reach their full adult size and weight by age 2. I have 2 JG and they are most impressive birds. They reached their full size by 1 y.o., but it took another year to fill the weight in on those big old bones. And they do eat anything. Mine are the great hunters of my flock.

Our J.G are now 6 months old. They began laying eggs at 5 months. They eat layer feed like crazy- a 50# every 2 weeks. We let them have as much as they want... Should we limit their feed? or let them continue to eat all they want? They have HUGE appetites but they lay eggs every day! They have a 20'x30' run. We have 12 hens and 1 roo.
