I have two muscovies at 4 months. They grew their flight feathers about a month ago and are great fliers, their caruncling is growing in very quickly, but they still haven't started to hiss yet. I was pretty sure that both were male, but they still make trilling noises-- they actually sound more like a full-grown hen that lives nearby rather than a drake. Should they be hissing by now (if they are males) or are they still a bit immature for that?
