when do my button quail lay

at what age do my button quail lay and when will i be able to incubate thy're eggs

They can start laying as early as 4 months.

people have quail laying as early as 5 weeks. shoulda bought coturnix quail

Mine start at about 8 weeks and I wait for 10 days before keeping the eggs for the bator

Mine were between 8 and 10 weeks, can't remember for sure

thanks for the help guys i am new to rasing quail and i still havent got to them puking all over me when i have to put them back into theyre nesting pen at night

my boys started breeding around 5-6 weeks about a week or so later the girls started laying

I waited for a few weeks before I set the first test eggs - most of them were fertile - now that my flock is a few months old I think about 90% of the eggs are fertile LOL


my coturnix quail started laying around 7-8 weeks
