When do peafowl molt?

There's a rescue zoo near us that has a number of peafowl that roam part of the grounds, mostly around a set of picnic benches. They're fed and have shelters, of course, and the entire zoo is surrounded by a very high fence that keeps them in. Anyone who finds loose feathers from the various birds can keep them, and I'd like to get some loose feathers for an art project.
What time of year would be my best bet at getting a large number of feathers, especially tail feathers? I'm in Central Texas, and it's been warm here for awhile. The wild birds are building nests and laying eggs about this time of year, so I assume it's about breeding season for peafowl as well.

Some start losing their tail feathers as early as July. For mine it's usually August or September.
