They are 10 weeks now and...nothing . what age is normal to start crowing?

It depends on the rooster and the breed, I've had some start trying to crow at less then 6 weeks, and some who don't try until they are fully mature.

My EE roo crowed for the first time at 8 weeks.

It also depends on the living situation. If your chicks are out with the flock, the dominant roo may prevent them from acting on the urge to crow.... I have several boys out in the coop, from 8 weeks to 15 weeks and none of them have crowed yet!
