When do roosters crow

The honest answer is...however old they are when they first crow. I know, not much of an answer but it is what it is. I have read on here about roosters starting at 5 or 6 weeks and some being 6 months or more. I don't think it is even a breed thing. I think it is just an individual bird thing. Whenever it is ready, it will crow. You could always sit beside it and try to teach it by crowing yourself. Of course you have to post a video of that if you do. Good luck!
