I have 9 blue runner ducks; 20 week old girls. I have 1 campbell/rouen cross drake (named AutE) - 24 weeks old. When can I expect to find eggs? Love has been in the air for over a month now and I am wondering if they need supplements while laying. They are in the duck house at night and out and about by 9am, so I think I'd see some eggs if they had started laying. I want to bring in a blue runner drake to take some of the demand off AutE now. Suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Sometime between 5-8 months old depending on the breed, I have Muscovys and they usually start around 6 months to 8 months. I keep oyster shell out year round,.

my Runners born last April 25th of last year just started laying a few weeks ago. I think they were old enough in the last fall, but the short days hindered their starting. My Pekins started laying at 6 months old, but were hatched inearly March.
