When do silkies start to lay?

Hi, I was wondering when did/do your silkies ( if you have them) start to lay. I have a silkie pullet that was born on May 11th 2020 so is almost 6 months. Did your silkies start laying at 5 months 6 months or more?

Silkies are a bit strange. She lay at 7 months but they really lay when they want

from my experience, Silkies May start laying as young as 5.5 months or as old as 9 months, but are more likely to lay anywhere between 6.5 and 7.5 months old! (They have some weird “egg timers” going on inside them, LOL )
