I got my hens as adult layers middle of summer last year. So far non of my girls have gone broody. I have 2 one year old BO, one SLW also about one year old, one RIR about 1 year old and several GSL again about 1 or so year old.
Just wondering what to expect. Have read about the signs of broodiness but so far non of the girls are looking interested. I do have an "active" rooster.
Also, If I want to encourage the broodiness,(once she appears broody) do I seperate her from the rest and set her up with her own sepcial nest?
