When do they sound like chickens

I am just curious when do they stop peeping and start clucking. Mine are 8 weeks old and once in a while we hear a grown up chicken noise but rarely.

I can't believe they can lay at 5 months. There must be a lot of big changes coming fast.

I have three juvies hatched in December that still chirp and cheep like chicks every now and then. Can't wait till next month... they should start laying!

Mine peeped and then chirped and one honked then they clucked at about 4-5 months.
