GQF 1250

I recently acquired an older gqf 1250. Everything seems to work but I’m not having a lot of success. Anyone familiar with these have any tips? I’ve hatched for years with table tops.

So the newer ones and the older ones haven't changed too much.

If it has a manual thermostat it could be going out.

I keep a thermoeter/hygrometer (govees w/ bluetooth) on every tray I have eggs in. I've noticed in the newer ones there is about a half degree difference from top shelf to bottom.

So you need to find out your "sweet" spot and know as you add eggs, quantity, type and humidity temperate will fluctuate. A good test is chicken eggs you know are fertile and set and forget kinda deal. I usually do a weekly quitter test myself and the GQF's have been good other than humidity issues if I don't hve the auto drip.
