When do they start to lay after hatching out babies???

My hen just hatched out 4 of the cutest babies EVER and I was just curious as to when she will start laying again!

When her role is over plus a little grieving time. I have a Muscovey that runs to the boys when we sell her babies. Starts over again within 2 days. She is rare!

She has her babies with her, I chose to not take them from her. But I guess I will just have to see..

The answer is WHEN SHE DECIDES TO.

Mine usually start up a couple days after taking the chicks away, or mom deciding to leave the babies on thier own.
