I have some Cochin/Frizzle mixes, when will I know if they have the frizzle gene? How will I know? Thanks

You will know within a week. They frizzles will start getting their frizzled feathers from the start. They will have feathers that stick out from their wings and the chicks that are non-frizzled will have wing feathers that stay flat against their sides.

Here's a pic of my frizzle cochin banty hen at 2 1/2 weeks

Out of the two that hatched, one was frizzle, and the other not.

Okay! Now they are less than a week old, but I have a few that have flat feathers, I am pretty sure are cochins and some that have feathers that look like they are sticking out kind of like little pins, does that make sense? Does that sound like I have frizzles? Thanks!!
