When do you start feeding and water new born chicks?

My chicks are hatching as i type and it is my first time so I'm stressing a little. When do you start?

you have a day or 2 before you need to feed them, I usually give them 24 hours or so.

We also go on day 2- they dont seem to be very interested in feed and water till then- We have lost a few chicks in water dishes-so that why we wait....
