when does a chick begin to poop?

sorry for the stupid question but I am a bit worried that my newly hatched chick about 1 day old has not pooped yet my last batch had a chick that did not pooped and died, i later checked her body and she had a dry vent but i checked this chick and she had no dry vent. she is healthy running about and all, do i need to worry?

is the vent sticky or gooy if it is just wash it with warm water and put olive oil

no their is no sign of sickness

They dont need to eat the first 3 days of life, as they are still feeding off the remainder of the yoke. The chick sounds fine just give it a day.
