When does a chicken's egg tooth fall off?

We have 8 very young chickens, of varying ages and breeds. One of the younger chickens is about four days old and still has an egg tooth. I've read posts that say the chicken's egg tooth is supposed to fall off the same day she hatches. When should it fall off?

Within a few days...maybe longer.
