I have 2 yr old Narragansett hens that have been laying eggs for a couple weeks now. They haven't been laying on the eggs so we've just grabbed them and enjoyed eating them, turkey eggs are delicious! So I'm just wondering when if any will the hens will "lay down" with the eggs so I can have some poults!

Turkeys won't start to brood eggs until they get a pile of them. So if you want them to start, you'll need to leave the eggs in the nest!!!

So the eggs will still be able to hatch if they just sit there with nothing keeping them warm?

Yes. I believe they need 3 days of continuous heat before the incubation process starts.
