When does a hen stop laying eggs

Just wondering when hens stop laying eggs cause i dont want to sell all my girls but if i do i need to know when. Thanks!

As far as I know they will never completly stop. As a hen gets older, the number of eggs will decrease with age, but to my knowlegde, as long as they're healthy, they will lay till death.

ETA: If I am wrong, somebody please correct me.

I think your right bigredfeather they will lay just not as well as when they were younger. I have an EE she is eight she lays four days out of the week.

Mine stop laying when they feel like it,about once every three months.....................
