When does your (kids') school start?

My son started his junior year on Tuesday. He only goes half a day. Should start vo-tech for afternoons today.

My dd's school started half day on 19th however the teacher's schedule decided to post pone her schooling until the 21st. That half day was for teacher's, parents conferences, the 20th is for all boys in school (because they need to teach them how to use bathroom, wash their hands, do and donts about girls) and the girls school day would be tomorrow on the 21st to teach them how to use bathroom properly, wash hands properly and do and donts about boys). I thought it was absurd but if it works for them so be it. however DD's Kindergarten class would miss out two days of this when they should be attending school all that time. I never had that segreation sex in classes before and it must have been recent introduction. Monday will be the full real classes.

The rest of the schools already got their students in while ours is not all together.

School here starts August 31... But it usually starts in the first week of September. Im so not ready for school to start yet, I dont have the supplies yet..
