When I hear chirping from inside the egg, approx how long before pipping begins? I heard it last night randomly for a few hours, but this morning I didn't hear anything.. I have had temp issues with this incubator that I didn't actually discover until Day 14.. The digital reading was actually about 7 degrees cooler than what it should be.. I wished now I would have used a back up thermometer on Day 1.. The advice I received from others was to continue with the hatch after regulating temp and hope for the best by extending the hatch period a few days.. I was just curious what some of you more experienced poultry experts had experienced in the past...Thanks for you comments in advance..

You have the LG 9300, don't you??

Usually you expect to see an external pip anywhere w/in 24 hours from the internal pip.
