When is breeding season and where are you located?

I’m in Alberta, Canada. My peahens usually start laying at the end of May and continue to lay until the middle of August. However, most of my August laid eggs are out of yearling peahens. They also start laying later. Last year it was the end of June. Peacocks drop there trains sometime in August.

I live in the Florida panhandle (Big Bend) area. I have one pair of breeders. For the past two years breeding season started in early March. Last year we had two clutches of eggs. One clutch hatched out on May 5 and the other on August 3, 2018. My peacock lost his train in late July.

I was not planning to sell eggs. I do plan to sell chicks and adult peafowl.

Mine lose their trains between late July and late September. They usually start laying eggs in April and lay through September, though every now and then I get one laying October, November, and December, but that is rare.

The same in Europe !
