When is it a molt? When is it something else? When to worry?

Is this a regular molt? Her backside and neck have been bare for what seems like months.

Other photos I've seen of molting have some re growth, but she's been totally skin for so long.
 
That doesn't look like a molt to me at all. Have you checked for mites? Is she getting pecked by other chickens? Molts USUALLY happen in the fall but certainly not always but regardless, that doesn't look like a molt to me.
 
She's Not getting pecked. I'm not sure how to 'check' for mites, I'll google it, but might as well pick up some meds for it just in case. Will I need to toss eggs when treating for mites?
