Guineas are seasonal layers/breeders, Spring thru Fall. But what time of the year the Guineas actually consider it to be Spring and Fall varies depending on the climate of where you are located.

i'm from middle georgia and it is early spring, just wondering though! how come mine don't mate? she's been doing good with laying eggs, but she isn't fertile! WHY CAN'T THEY BE LIKE CHICKENS!!!!

You've opened the eggs and checked for fertility? How old is the Hen?

When they mate it's super quick and they are quiet about it, so don't expect to see/hear it happen.

Are you positive you have a male?

yup! i'm positive it's a male because he doesn't do the buck-wheat sound
