I have a 18m conifer tree in my back garden and I am planning to take it out.
We regularly have wood pidgins in our garden and I think that some of them nest in this tree, I can tell for sure as it is so large and dense, but there is a fair amount of droppings on the floor below to tell me they may be.
Pidgins I know nest all your round if conditions are right. So what do you suggest?
don't want to start chopping and find a nest that is obviously active. any tips for encouraging them elsewhere?
Will people come and remove them?
What is the best time of year to do this.
I'm looking at taking the tree out as soon as possible.
thanks for your advise and guidance people
