Hi all,
When is the right time to introduce nest boxes to a flock that has not started laying yet?

when they are 14 to 16 weeks old so they can get used to seeing them and practice

I put the nesting boxes in when I built the coop, then they were already there. I was amazed to see my hens use them fairly quick after laying their first egg. I was worried that because they were the only chickens I had thew might not know where to put them, silly owner, chickens know what chickens are suppoesed to do.
