When is/was the first day of spring?

I woke this week to robins everywhere. And loads of everything else. Oh I am so glad the season is here. We had 80 degrees here yesterday and 77 today. Its the first weather in a long, long time that has been nice this winter. Yes it will be cold again but this is enough to warm my heart. I sat in the chicken run and held my favorite hens on me knees and they talked like crazy. Now, if they would just lay. They both have red heads, they squat, and yesterday one sang the egg song. Today I saw one in the nest investigating it out. They are buff orpingtons. Yeh!!!! Spring is finally coming. Jean

I've been seeing robins lately, so I guess that means spring is here LoL BUT I think it's gone already

Where did it go! It went from 30-40 to 80-90 literally overnight!
Perdue and Tyson's factories are putting too much pollution into the air! Global Warming is here! We are all gonna die!

I know March 20 is the first day of spring, but I saw 2 Robins and the frogs were croking on Friday when it was warm. It's getting closer.

Just thought I would throw my two cents in!! This is just one little limb. The whole tree is covered in buds like this!!

Can I have this 70+ degree weather people keep speaking of?? They're predicting snow for tonight, and record lows for tomorrow night. Maybe about 20 degrees, which is cold for Washington, especially in March.
