When processing, has anyone seen gray gonads?

The testicles are usually all the same fleshy yellow color. These were definitely gray, but no sign of anything wrong. This mixed breed rooster was very gray/black colored throughout. Dark eyes, really dark feet, dark gray body. Maybe the gray just went all the way through his system.

I have no experience in this at all, but would think unless it was a black (grey) meated variety that the discoloration of the gonads would be from some medical issue w/ them. If the issue was isolated to just the reproductive system he wouldn't ness show symptoms of illness, or it could have been early enough in whatever the malfunction was there were no outward symptoms yet. That is all just a guess though, not based on experience.

I don't have a ton of butcher experience but the 30 birds we have offed. No gray gonads. Our are usually white.
