when should i add nesting boxes

So my girls are around 2 months old living in there coop and run quite happy i am wondering i have no nesting boxes in there yet cuz there not old enough but when should i add the nesting boxes once i find the first egg or before hand. i know to put fake eggs in the nesting boxes so they know that is where they go but not sure on this part of the jurney with my girls. thanks

As long as they're used to sleeping on the perch I would go ahead and put the nesting boxes in now.

they dont sleep on pearch at night only during the day so put them in once there peerching at night

I had to go in and place mine on their perch every night for about a week, then they decided it was better than the floor. I would put the nesting boxes in before it's egg laying time. They'll be used to seeing them and comfortable in them, and you won't have to root all over the coop to find your eggs!
