when should i c a baby instead of a dark spot?

I have 13 eggs I saw babies and veins in. The rest are still just dark areas. Do they still have a chance? Is it normal for them to form at different rates?Today is day 6.

I would give it at least to day 10. I typically wait til day 14 before I toss you never know something just might be slow in developing.

I have had eggs that have hatched having only ever seen a dark area . However if it floats up to the top every time that you turn the egg then it is probably just the yolk you can see and is no good.
I would wait a couple more days just in case though

Thanks. I am too paranoid to toss anything. I will wait and see if they grow. Its only day 6 today.

I'd definately wait til day 10. Some of them just take a little longer to develop.

they are different breeds so i thought that might make a difference too.
