When should I expect my first eggs

I have 4 WM hens and a tom hatched at the end of October. When should I expect them to start laying?

late spring april/may, white turkeys are the first to lay on this farm, my beltvilles (9 hens) are laying . none of the colored birds are yet!!!!! tom!!!!!

I got my first royal palm egg yesterday in Virginia. I thought it was early but I am excited. The egg was smaller than usual for a turkey. Should I incubate a small one?

The jennies will usually start laying at about 9 months of age. If they were hatched in October, you may or may not get any until later in the summer. I always try to get poults that were hatched in the spring, so I know they will be laying come February or March the following spring.
