When should I get eggs?

Hi I have 12 week old hens:

3 Barred Plymouth Rocks

1 RIR

1 Production Red

Do some breeds produce eggs earlier than others?

When should I expect eggs from these breeds? How many nest boxes would be ideal for 5 hens?

I wasn't expecting eggs any earlier than the end of June/ first of July (which would make them around 17-18 weeks old) but just want to see if that is too early or too late of a guess..

Any egg laying info will help

2-3 nest boxes would be enough. You should get eggs when they are around 18-20 weeks old. Giving them layer pellets/mash in the mornings when they are around that age should get them going.
