When should I get the eggs for hatching?

I have chicks coming from My Pet Chicken, that are to arrive the week of May 31.

I want to get some eggs to hatch that are the olive egg layers. I will not be doing the hatching myself. I am hiring someone with an incubator and much experience at incubating and hatching eggs.

To get the chicks all at about the same time (the eggs hatched out to put with the new chicks from MPC), when should I buy/order the eggs for olive egg layers??

Also, who on here do I contact to get the eggs from?

You would want the eggs to be set three weeks before the arrival of the new chicks. You would want the shipped eggs to settle for around 24 hours before they are set. As far as who to contact, look where the egg auctions are on this site and look for olive eggers or OE's. You could PM someone who is selling them and arrange for eggs to be delivered around the right time. Hope this helps!

I got my olive eggs from Sonew123, on the auction here. I would definitely recommend her. I hatched my first batch from her. I had 6 out of 7 eggs hatch, on my first try.
