My broody has been setting for 2 weeks and 5 days. Should I be hearing anything when I go out and check on her? Little muffled peeping noises from the eggs under her?

I can hear peeping from the eggs in the bator a day or so before they hatch, but it's not constant and would be easy to miss from under a broody unless you're spending hours out there with her. The first I knew about chicks getting ready to hatch under my broodies was when I saw a fuzzy little face peering out at me from under mamma hen's wing.

I couldn't hear the chicks under mine because we have 20 one month old chicks in the brooder a few feet from the main coop. But I cold tell the hen was squirmy and wiggled a lot since she had babies under her. By day two the chicks were coming out and eating and drinking watch

They are now 3 days old and she has them out a lot.
