When should I introduce laying pellets

Hello everyone! I have 18 week silkies and 16 week black australorps but also 12 week old rir hens. I'm still feeding them medicated feed although I know I need to start laying pellets soon. Would it harm my rir's if I switched over after they finish off the medicated feed?

I would wait till the reds are at leasr sixteen weeks. You could put out oyster shell if you think the others need calcium until you switch to a layer feed. Especially if none of the others are laying yet.
