when should I order some chicks?

I raised some black sex links and they have been laying for a good 2 months now. When should i order some baby chicks? i want the order chicks to be laying when the black sex links go into molt.
So when is a good time??

McMurray Hatchery says chickens molt at about 18 mos. of age. Assuming your Sexlinks are somewhere around 8-9 mos. old now? That gives you about 10 mos. to get chicks to POL. Since you can't count on all of the new pullets to start laying right at 5 months, you might want to start your new chicks now. At the latest, I would start them before Labor Day.
