Hey guys! I have no clue when to put my first gang of the year out... last year I hatched all my chicks in the summer so it was no problem putting them out in the nice warm sunshine. Now I have no clue when to put them out...

my first batch hatched on March 26th. So they're almost two months.

Being Spring here, on nice day the high is in the 70's and at night it'll go down to 40.

Should I just put them out for the day... or should I wait awhile??

Thanks for any of your opinions!

Oh yes! I would definitely be putting them out during the day. I also think they would do just fine at night with a heat lamp. Mine have been out since they were 2 wks. old in their brooder in the coop. It gets down in the 40's here at night, but I have had them under the heat lamp (250 watt bulb) and have had no problems. Hope that helps!
